Virginia Arnett Martin passed away on September 7, 2021, at the age 91. She was a homemaker and worked in the cafeteria at Fairley  high School and Whitehaven High School. She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Forrest Lee Martin; parents, David Edward and Addie Virginia Arnett; seven brothers; Claude, Merrill, Willie, Omar, A.T., James, and Herman Arnett; and one sister, Flora Calvi.

She is survived by her daughters; Sandra Burke of Enid, Mississippi; Kathy Irwin (Paul) of Collierville, Tennessee; son, Mike Martin (Vickie) of Collierville, Tennessee; and six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and eight great great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Forest Hill South, 2545 East Holmes Road, Memphis, TN 38118.
