Virginia Snyder Stewart born October 1925 in Bruce, MS went to be with the Lord September 15, 2023. She passed peacefully in her home in Olive Branch, MS surrounded by her family.
Virginia, lovingly known to everyone as Granny, was an active long time member of Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS. She was an amazing woman who touched so many peoples hearts and lives. She was a passionate teacher of Gods Word, having been a Sunday School teacher for most of her life, and was devoted to a Christ-filled life with her family. She was a tower of strength and perseverance to her family whom she loved fiercely. She was ready and willing to help those in need, give a kind gesture, or share just the right scripture. She lived an obedient life, sharing her faith so that everyone would know the God she knew and loved. She enjoyed baking, sewing, and gardening.
She lived through the tragedies of losing her husband Russell L. Stewart and her two sons Milton and Donald Stewart and survived by Gods Grace alone, she is now reunited with them in Heaven. She loved her grandson Russell E. Stewart, whom she raised, her granddaughter in love, Christina Stewart and their two sons, her great grandsons, Sean and Heath Stewart, her daughter in love Analyn Stewart, nephew Alan Snyder and extended family.
