VIRGINIA H. WARING, 98, of Memphis, our devoted mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on May 17, 2014 at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House. She was born with her twin brother to their parents Norman and Laura Haynie on February 21, 1916 in Smith County in Middle Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her five brothers and sisters. She was married for 52 years to Harry E. Waring who precedes her in death as well. She is survived by her three children, Jacquelyn Wolfe of Collierville, Harry E. Waring, Jr. of Little Rock, AR and Stephen C. Waring of Germantown. She leaves six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was a charter member of Second Baptist and served the church as a secretary for 38 years. Services will be held at Second Baptist Church at 4680 Walnut Grove with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. and service at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Second Baptist Church or Baptist Reynolds Hospice House.
