Virginia Lucille "MeeMaw" Wilson, 82, of Southaven, died September 9, 2017. She is the widow of the late Lendon Willis prior to being remarried to Wilburn Wilson, who also preceded her in death. She was of the Baptist faith and an avid quilter. While often stern when necessary, she was the nicest person ever! Her cooking will be sorely missed, and the lives of her grandchildren will never be the same without her.
She is survived by her sons, Tommy L. (Ruth) Willis of Southaven, MS and Terry Willis; one sister, Vera Gean of Maynard, AR; two brothers Charles Pinkston and Doug Pinkston; (9) Grandchildren and (13) Great-Grandchildren as well as a host of extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to St. Jude Hospital. Visitation will be held from 12 pm to 1 pm Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home, with funeral service at 1 pm and Interment to follow at Memory Hill Gardens.
