Virla O. Griffin

Virla Ozell Griffin, 94, known to family and friends as "Boots" passed away on December 13, 2015. She was retired from Hunter Fan and was a long time member of Holmes Road Church of Christ. Her husband, George E. Griffin preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Larry E. Griffin and daughter-in-law, Jo Ann of Memphis; two grandchildren: Kim and David, two great-grandchildren: Shelby and Justin of Mobile, AL; also one sister, Hazel Zachary of Memphis. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Thursday, December 17 at Forest Hill South with graveside service immediately following in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
