Vivian E. Bailey of Byhalia, Mississippi passed away peacefully on July 20, 2019.  She was born on March 1, 1920, daughter of the late Garner & Birdie Womack. She was blessed with good health for 99 wonderful years. Vivian (Memaw) was a strong, stylish, loving mother and grandmother. Twice widowed, she is preceded in death by her first husband, John R. Langston and her husband of 35 years, William C. Bailey.  She is also preceded in death by her eldest son, Fred I. Langston and her six siblings. She leaves behind a large family that loved her very much.  Survivors include daughters Sylvia Joy Beesinger and Barbara Almond, son, William E. Bailey, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, July 25, 2019, at 9:00 am and services will follow at 10:00 am. Both will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park East (Whitten Rd.). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors).  This organization's mission is to help rebuild the shattered lives of survivors and co-workers affected by line-of-duty deaths.
