Southaven - Walter C. "Bill" Mason 86 of Southaven, MS went to be with the Lord on Tuesday July 8, 2014. He was a devout Christian, faithful servant to the Lord and a longtime member of Gracewood Baptist Church. Mr. Mason served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of the American Legion of Horn Lake. He was a former restaurant owner, dock foreman for Yellow Freight and a painter for Don Chambliss Co. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lottie Mason; 3 children: Sheila Foust and her husband Billy, Perry Mason and his wife Erby and William Mason; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, July 11 at 12 noon with the service following at 2 p.m. both at Forest Hill South. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
