Walter Stanley Hyatt, 88, of Pope, MS and formerly of Memphis, TN, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017. He was born on December 17, 1928 in Memphis, to the late John and Margaret Hyatt. Mr. Hyatt was a retired mechanic and an Army Veteran. He is survived by his two daughters, Lesa Rena Hyatt Hilburn (husband Bobby Hilburn) of Pope, MS and Beverly Fletcher (husband Mark Fletcher) of Memphis; four sisters, and a brother. He was the oldest boy and the 4th child of twelve. Mr. Hyatt was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Hyatt on January 11, 2017; his parents; four brothers and two sisters. Visitation will 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 18 until service begins at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East. A private interment will follow in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
