Walter Harry Pyle, Sr., 90, of Memphis, TN died Tuesday, July 31, 2012. He was retired from the Memphis Defense Depot and an active member of Ellendale Baptist Church. Mr. Pyle was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Marie Pyle and daughter Harriette Climer (Harry). He is survived by his son Walter H. Pyle, Jr. (Kathy) of Somerville, TN; sister, Virginia; grandchildren, Vicki (Mark), Debra (Wesley), Lisa, Kimberly (Jorge), Melinda (Aaron), April (Robert); fourteen great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Grace and Rose and brothers, Harry and Clarence. Visitation will be 5:30-7:30 P.M., Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 A.M., Friday, August 3, 2012 at Ellendale Baptist Church with interment to follow in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
