Walter Kent Williams, 73, passed away in Memphis on May 16, 2019.  Mr. Williams was a graduate of Stanford University in California, and a retired Associate Scientist for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter C. and Muriel Skoog Williams.  Left to cherish his memory are his fiance' Sandy Talley of Memphis, Tennessee; sister, Janet Williams of Davis, California; and brother, Russell (Susan) Williams of Rocklin, California.  Mr. Williams loved animals and leaves their pups, Halei, Hunter, and Honey.  Visitation will be on Friday, May 24, 2019, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., with his service following at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East on Whitten Road.  In lieu of flowers, he requested any memorial donations be sent to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
