Wanda Lynn Grissom, 63, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. She was born in Shreveport, LA, February 13, 1961, to parents Joe Griffin and Maxine Quimby. After graduating high school, Wanda went on to attend college and received her bachelor's at Texas Women's University. She married the love of her life, Bryan Grissom, a day after her birthday in her backyard under the gazebo. Wanda loved reading, shopping and writing poetry. She loved to care for others and help in any way she could. Although she had no children, she gained the gift of being a stepparent and helped raise two children with her loving husband.  Wanda is proceeded in death by her sister Anita. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 19 wonderful years, Bryan Grissom, her stepchildren, David and Sarah, her mother and father Maxine Griffin and Joe Griffin, two brothers, Brian (Zhenya) and Randy Griffin, as well as a niece and nephew, Alexa and Aaron Griffin. Wanda will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss her more than words can describe.
