Wanda Humphries, age 85, of Atwood, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, in Jackson, Tennessee, surrounded by her loving family.

Born to Judge Pittman and Alva Dell Brown, Wanda was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who lived her life with quiet strength and unwavering love. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James "Jimmy" Humphries, her brother Mike Inlow, and her parents.

Wanda is survived by a large and loving family. She leaves behind her sister Bonnie Ennis of Jacksonville, Florida. She was the proud mother of six children: Mandi Ferrell (Eads, TN), Needa Jenks (Robertsdale, AL), Kelli Humphries Freda (Old Hickory, TN), Dakota Humphries (Atwood, TN), James "Jacky" Humphries (Arlington, TN), and Edward Humphries (Huntington, TN).

Her legacy continues through her 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her warm heart, quick wit, and enduring kindness.

Wanda will be remembered for her deep devotion to her Memphis Tigers and Grizzlies as well as Sonic Diet Cherry Coke with extra ice. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
