Wanda Lou Schultz Norris has gone on to be with the Lord this 28th day of July 2026. She is proceeded in death by her husband Billy Wayne Norris, her brother Barry Schultz, her sister Harriet Chandler, and her eldest son David Wayne Norris.

She is survived by her children, Karen Elaine Phillips (Robert Phillips) and Timothy William Norris (Tina Norris), her grandchildren Robert Phillips, Ryan Phillips, Emily Norris and Erin Norris. Mrs. Norris had four great grandchildren, RJ Phillips, Nora Phillips, David Phillips, and Sam Phillips and a 5th great grandchild due in December ( the month of her birth).

Mrs. Norris was born Wanda Lou Shultz in Memphis Tennessee, graduated from Southside High school and was happily married to Billy Wayne Norris for 66 years before his death. Mrs. Norris made a home for her husband and children in many cities in Mississippi including Greenwood, Indianola, Marks, Long Beach, and Water Valley.

While always having a passion for and considered her home, the state of Mississippi, Mrs.Norris retired as a cafeteria manager with the Memphis City Schools and continued her passion in missions with her church and by traveling 14 times to Central America with the Baptist Medical and Dental Mission.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be sent to Samaritans Purse, the Baptist Medical and Dental Mission or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Funeral services will be held at the Forest Hill Cemetery, 2440 Whitten Rd.in Memphis, Tennessee, Monday August 3, 2026 at 10am.
