Wathena Lee Stover, 90 of Tishomingo, MS passed away June 17, 2023.She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Wilson Stover; one son, Brian Stover; one grandson, Christopher "Chris" Stover; parents, Charlie and Margie Hazelrigg; and brother, Alden Hazelrigg.
She is survived by one son, Douglas Stover (Nell); daughter-in-law, Margo Stover; sister, Judy Harvey (Jay); grandson, Daniel Stover (Jill) and Frank "Rusty" Stover; and great grandchildren, Daxton and Marley.
Ms. Wally was a lifelong member of Minor Memorial United Methodist Church and was involved in many of the congregation's activities. She was active in the Women's Group and with the Bazaars that were held by the church.
She was a talented seamstress, sewer, and quilter; and enjoyed other hobbies such as painting. Her and Wilson were avid campers and enjoyed fishing. They were a part of a domino's playing club and as well as playing other card games.
Wilson and Wally celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary June 5, 2012. They were very involved with their grandchildren and showed their support at ballgames and every life event. As a close family, their son, Brian and his wife, Margo were caretakers for Ms. Wally after Mr. Wilson passed.
