WAYMAN GLEN CHAPELL, 86, died September 5, 2014. Mr. Chapell worked in Agri-Business as a farm manager, realtor, appraiser, accountant, and consultant. He served in the United States Army, and occupied Japan at the end of World War II. He served as an elder in the Primitive Baptist Church, serving congregations in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Illinois. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth; his children: Gordon (Lynn), Gary (Pennye), Bryan (Kathy), Cyndee (Wayne), Jeff, Shannon (Lisa, Tina); 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson. Funeral services will be at Forest Hill Funeral Home, 2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis 38133, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with a visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. Memorials may be made to: Collier Cemetery, in care of Jo Ann Boyde, Traver Rd., Martin, TN 38237. Private burial in the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Memphis.
