Wendell H. Lee, 71, of Memphis, TN, went to be with the Lord on September 20, 2016. He was a retired Shelby County Sheriff Deputy and a lifelong musician "piano picker". Mr. Lee was also a member of Bartlett Hill Baptist Church. He leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Sylvia Lee; two sons, Richard Lee (Teresa) and Terry Lee (Theresa); his brother, Michael Lee; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday September 22 and service at 2 p.m. Friday, September 23 at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East with interment following. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
