Wendell Howard Watson, age 89, peacefully passed away on December 28, 2020.  He was born in Baxterville, MS on August 2, 1931.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Thais Yeager Watson.  He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Watson, his son Wesley Watson (Vicky) and his grandson Brian Taylor.  Wendell served 21 months on active duty with the U.S. Army National Guard.  He was discharged as a Sergeant and later as a 1 st Lieutenant in the Army Reserves.  He retired from the U.S. Civil Service after 40 years.  He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who was dearly loved by everyone who knew him.  A devout Christian, he was a member of Grace Evangelical Church.  Visitation will be at Grace Evangelical Church at 9750 Wolf River Blvd, Germantown, TN on Saturday, January 2 nd , 2021 from 1:00-2:00pm.  The service will start at 2:00pm.
