Wesley N. C. Jarrett, 90, of Lakeland, TN, went to be with his Lord on November 19, 2015. He was born in Myrtle, Mississippi and was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. A Godly Man, Decorated WWII Army Veteran, MATA Bus Driver for 34 years, a man of many stories, full of humor and the "Mayor" of Long Bridge Lane. Mr. Jarrett was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Letha Jarrett and is survived by his daughter, Wanda Lewallen (H. Carrol) of Gautier, MS; son, William "Doug" Jarrett (Debra) of Hickory Withe, TN; brother, Marvin Jarrett of Ecru, MS; sister, Faye Robbins of Tupelo, MS; four grandchildren, Donna McLain (Grant), Wyatt Jarrett (Michelle), David Lewallen (Chasity), Brian Jarrett; five great grandchildren, Carey and Mason McLain, Gabriella Jarrett; Zachary and Charity Lewallen; and many friends. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Monday, November 23 until service begins at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memphis Memory Gardens.
