Olive Branch - WILEY E. REAVES, JR., 87, well known barber and hair stylist in Memphis for 69 years, died May 21, 2014. He served in the U.S. Army 23rd infantry in World War II. He love God and served as Deacon of Collierville Assembly of God for 25 years. He loved to sing solo in church and listen to gospel music at home. He also had many friends who loved him. His hobbies were camping and antique cars. He is preceded in death by both parents, two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marjorie; three sons, Ron (Ann) Phil (Debra), Rick (Loretta); one daughter, Glenda Meyers; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also he is survived by one brother, Jim Reaves (Melba) of Kansas, one sister, Velda Frizzel of Memphis, many nieces and nephews that he dearly loved. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 27 and service 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, both at Forest Hill East Funeral Home.
