Wilford L. Blackwell, 85, of Senatobia, MS died Friday, October 5, 2012 at his home. He was retired from MLG&W after 31 years of service. Mr. Blackwell was born in Pocahontas, TN, June 28, 1927 to Isom B. and Nancy Odom Blackwell. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Blackwell, and is survived by his wife, Phyllis Blackwell; daughter, Nancy Woods; four stepchildren; ten step grandchildren, and four step great-grandchildren. Mr. Blackwell is also survived by his niece, Jamie Jackson; nephew, Herb Bobo; great niece, Sharon Sharkey and great-great niece, Mary Sharkey. He was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers. Visitation will be 12-2 P.M., Tuesday, October 9, 2012 with services to follow at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
