William "Bill" Fortune, Sr., 77, of Memphis, TN, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017. He was retired from the US Postal Service. Mr. Fortune was a member of Providence Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marion Fortune; three sons and their wives, Bil Fortune, Jr.(Barbara), Christan Fortune (Pattie), John Fortune (Robin); and three grandchildren, Wil, Halle, and Grace. Mr. Fortune was preceded in death by his grandson, Christan Jr. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 16 until service begins at 10 a.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East. The family request memorials be sent to Providence Baptist Church.
