William "Bill" J. Kizevich, 91, of Bartlett, TN, went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2012. He was born November 2, 1920 in Waterbury, CT to the late Annie and Peter Kizevich. Mr. Kizevich graduated from Feitshans High School in Springfield, IL where he was a standout basketball player and the University of Illinois with a degree in Engineering. He moved to Memphis and had a life long career with Shelby-Skipwith. Mr. Kizevich was also a WWII Army veteran who was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. He was the widow of the late Sue Ann Kizevich and is survived by his daughters, Danielle Brigance, Tammy Hollingsworth; three grandchildren, Gennifer Pate, Ashton Swiger, Anna Swiger; great-grandson, Zachary Pate; sisters-in-law, Laurie Miller, Donna Pearson; brother-in-law, Mike Gardner; and nieces and nephews, Jane Granneman Hansen (Chris), Joanne Granneman Evans, Dr. Lisa Weymouth, Dr. James Granneman, (Deborah), Dr. Richard Granneman (Billie) and Peter Weymouth. Mr. Kizevich was known to family and friends for his unflappable positive attitude, generosity, sense of humor, brilliance, love for family and friends and a deeply held faith. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, September 27 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with family receiving friends an hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family request any memorials be sent to Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture.
