William "Bill" Phalan of Memphis died November 7, 2016 at age 91. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Hazel. He is survived by daughter Judy (John) Price of Bartlett, and son David Phalan of Illinois. He also leaves two grandsons and one great grandson. He was a member of Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Bill retired as manager of Frontier Press after serving the Cumberland Presbyterian Denomination for more than 43 years.

Visitation with family will begin Thursday, November 10, at 1 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home on Whitten Road. Services begin at 2 p.m. Graveside to follow immediately after. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 4327 Appling Road, Bartlett, TN 38133.
