William Lee Bowers, 85, passed away on December 16, 2023.

Bill was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was passionate about his hobbies, which ranged from water skiing, ham radio, radio-controlled airplanes, and spending time on the Mississippi River on his houseboat, ski boats, jet skis, or just hanging out at the marina. Perhaps Bill's greatest hobby was telling extraordinary stories.

Bill was preceded in death by two ex-wives, Pat and Diania, and his son Allen.

Bill is survived by his sons Bill Jr (Lisa) and Robert (Melody), his grandchildren Miranda (Travis), Nick, and AJ, and his great-grandsons Rowan and Cassian. For the past 36 years, Bill was a devoted partner to Faye Sanders, and was very close to the Sanders family. He is survived by Faye, her sons John (Kim) and Sandy (Betty), and her daughter Lisa. He is survived by the Sanders grandchildren Gino Velto (Sydney), Rachel (Michael), and Emily (Christopher).
