William Goodman Brewer, 87, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013. The widower of Laura Nell Garner Brewer, he is survived by his daughter, Dana Brewer Speck (Tommy); six grandchildren, William Gordan Gray; Melissa Gray Jovellanos Arthuro); Nicole Bennett Mooney (Jason); Eric Bennett; Tim Speck; Tracy Speck Adams; eleven great-grandchildren; Brittany and Christopher Gray; Megan and Hayley Jovellanos; Brewer and Ella Mooney; Alysa and Mason Bennett; Carly and Alexis Speck; Jaden Adams; nieces and nephews, Peggy Peagler Lutz; Mary Peagler Larr; Lisa Cash Spears; Ed, Don, David and Matt Cash; and many great nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Faye Garner Cash Ellis and Dorothy Hood Garner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Goodman Brewer and Wilbur Mae Thompson Brewer; a daughter Chery Brewer Gray; a sister, Laura Mae Brewer Peagler and brother-in-law, David Lewis Garner. Mr. Brewer was a graduate of Southside High, he served his country in the US Army, and was a printers'' supervisor for Graphic Packaging. Donations may be made to the Memphis Prep Program, P.O. Box 770600, Memphis, TN 38177 or a charity of the donor''s choice. The family will receive visitors 5-7 pm, Monday with services at 2 pm, Tuesday, both at Forest Hill East Funeral Home.
