William 'Aubrey" Davenport, 79, of Lake Cormorant, MS, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 29, 2024. He was born on January 14, 1945 to parents: James and Mary Davenport. After graduating high school, Aubrey began a life of entrepreneurship. He was self employed and was owner of Davenport Towing and Recovery until he retired. He married the love of his life Sandra on November 21, 1969 and from that union, three beautiful children were created. Aubrey was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved the outdoors and being in nature any time he could. He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Sandra Davenport as well as a brother and sister: Gene Davenport and Rena McDonald. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters: Tammy Dewerff (Mike), Becky Sebek (John), and Tina Davenport, 6 grandchildren: Kelsey, Matt, Chelsea, Aden, Shelby, and Dustin, 11 great grandchildren and two sisters: Nancy Mullins and Lena Shanks, as well as his brother in law: Slick McDonald. Aubrey will forever be in our hearts and we will miss him more than words can express.
