William B. Davis, 94, of Cordova, went to be with the Lord May 4, 2014. He was born June 6, 1919 in Nauvoo, TN. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Willie Davis. Bill leaves behind his loving wife of 73 years, Geraldine Hendren Davis; his son, Jeff (Kay) Davis; his daughters, Nelda Jackson and Janet Wilson, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Bill was a charter member of Georgian Hills Baptist Church. He was a WWII Purple heart recipient. Visitation will be at Forest Hill East Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6. Services will be Wednesday, May 7 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association.
