William E. Dawson, 85, of Memphis, TN died Thursday, December 26, 2013. He was a member of Cherokee Baptist Church, retired from EnPak, and a U.S. Navy veteran, Korean Conflict. Mr. Dawson was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Elaine Dawson and is survived by his sons, Larry Dawson (Sherry) of Saulsbury, TN and Ernest Dawson (Melodie) of Cocoa, FL; grandchildren, Sheryl Shelton (Benjamin) of Collierville, TN and Grant Dawson (Casey) of Baldwin, FL; sisters, Dorothy Dimmick of Lakewood, OH and Anna Davidson (Tom) of Idaho. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Grant and Lucy Dawson and brother, Richard Dawson. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m., Monday at the funeral home with interment to follow.
