William Douglas (Doug) Jordan, 80, passed away July 7, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by his parents, Willie Sharp Jordan and Leslie Jordan, his brother Larry Jordan, and sister Betty Beck. Doug is survived by his wife JoAnne Crump Jordan of 19 years, brothers Robert and Cecil Jordan, sister, Carolyn Garrett, and first wife and friend, Aggie Hardin. He is also survived by his children Mark Jordan (Lori), D''Ann Prather (Benny), Shelley Gongoll (Grant), Karen Holden (Richie), DeRhonda Hutcherson (Terry), Randy Crump, and Barry Crump (Kathy), 15 grandchildren, and 28 great grand children. Doug was part owner of W.S. Jordan & Sons Gravel Co., and later employed by Memphis Auto Auction. Sharp and active in life, Doug enjoyed bowling, golfing, and cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels. He was inducted into the Memphis Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 2000, and the Hall of Fame of the Southern Bowling Congress in 2014. He served as President of the Tennessee State USBC, and the Memphis Bowling Association. He was also inducted as a Life Member of the TN State USBC, and the Memphis Bowling Association. A visitation will be held Monday July 11, 2016 from 12:30-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. All services and interment will be held at Forest Hill, South on Holmes Rd.
