William M. Durham, 86, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017. Bill is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ellen; his children, Dan Durham, Don Durham, Debbie Clements, Keith Durham, and Kate Mercer. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 3 sisters and 1 brother.

He was a member of Carriage Hills Baptist Church. He loved the Lord, his family and his church family, and they all loved him in return. He will be deeply missed.

Bill served his country for 20 years in the Navy. He was a Chief Petty Officer in the submarine service. After retiring from the Navy, Bill worked as a Maintenance Engineer for University of Memphis. He retired from there and went to work for LeBonheur Children''s Hospital as the Associate Director of Engineering.

Services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Carriage Hills Baptist Church in Southaven, MS. Visitation is at the church from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with services immediately following. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations are made to Carriage Hills Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
