William Wesley Harper, 90, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Rubye; one daughter, Bonita Cummings (Ronnie); three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one brother, Clyde Harper. Bill was a communicant at St. Joseph Catholic Church; retired from Shelby Electric and was owner of Harper''s Rentals. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. The family will receive friends, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m., Friday, followed by services at 12 p.m., both at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown (901) 775-0310
