William Gerald Henson, 95 of Germantown, passed away February 22, 2023.

He is survived by his daughter, Amy Henson Denson (Jerry); and grandson, Trent Denson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Harrison and Lula Agnes Henson; and two brothers, Wendell Henson and Gordon Henson.

Mr. Gerald served in the United States Navy and served 25 years with SCP Collierville Police Department. He was a member of Germantown Baptist Church for many years.

In honoring Mr. Gerald's wishes, there will be a private memorial service with final placement in the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, MTSU Charlie and Hazel Daniels Veterans and Military Family Center, or a charity of choice.
