William Arthur Hicks, age 85, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at his home in Southaven, Mississippi. Mr. Hicks was retired after 33 years of service with Smith and Nephew. He was an active and faithful member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Southaven. William was a loving man and showed kindness to all he met. He was a loving, caring, husband, father, and grandfather. A God-fearing man whose goal was to serve the Lord with all his being. He'll be missed so much - but now is Heaven Bound to be with the Lord for eternity. William was preceded in death by his wife Irene Hicks; Sisters Barbara Hicks and Minnie Lyles. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, sons Dennis Ansbro (Jackie), Jimmy Ansbro (Jeanne), Keith Hicks (Shelia); Brother, J.C. Hicks (Violet); Grandchildren, Stephanie Ansbro, Nakisha Dalaney, Dana Flippin, Jared Hicks. Great Grandchildren, Madison, McKensie, Jordan, Taylor, Cody, Cameron, and Christian. The service will be held in the Atrium on Saturday at 10:00 AM, June 13, 2020, at Forest Hill South Memorial Park, 2545 E Holmes Rd, Memphis, TN 38118
