William Earl Howell (Bill), 82, of Nesbit, Mississippi, died  on October 1, 2024. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on September 13, 1942 to the late Harriett Eileen Copeland Howell and William Homer Howell.

Bill retired from the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad after working for over 30 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Bertha Mae Howell. He is survived by his son, William Donald Howell (Karen) of Kingsland, Georgia, grandsons Ian Blake (Cristina) of Bremerton, Washington; Sean Davis Howell of Kingsland, Georgia; John Logan Howell of Kingsland, Georgia; and great granddaughters Anastasia and Vivianne Blake.
