William Obbin "Bill" Jackson, Jr., 89 passed away on August 24, 2022 at Hearthside

Senior Living in Collierville, TN. Mr. Jackson was an Army Veteran; he served in the 82 ^nd Airborne as a paratrooper. He was a member of Piperton Baptist Church, a charter member of Cub Lake and Memphis Beagle Clubs. He also volunteered with the Memphis Street Ministries and was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish. He worked for South Central Bell Telephone Co. retiring after 40 years where he worked as a switchman.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William, Sr. and Opal H. Jackson; also one grandson, Cody Jackson.

Bill leaves his beloved wife of almost 70 years, Patsy R. Jackson; one daughter, Patti Badgett (Rusty) of Collierville and one son, Jack Jackson (Laurie) of Moscow, TN; six grandchildren, Jessica Phillips, Bubba Badgett, Jack Badgett, Jacy Moore, Nash Jackson, and Zach Jackson; also 9 great-grandchildren.
