WILLIAM PAUL JAMES, 94, of Memphis, TN, joined his wife of 64 years, Bessie James, in the presence of the Lord on December 21, 2013. He retired from Firestone after 40 years and was a WWII Army Veteran. Mr. James was a member of Decatur Trinity Christian Church and was an avid bowler and fisherman. He is survived by his son, Danny Paul James (Vicki); daughter, Doris James England (Samuel); sisters, Louise Jones of Ormond Beach, FL, Lucille Karnes of Rancho Mirage, CA; brother, Gary Eugene James of Lakeland, TN; granddaughter, Danielle N. Pittman; two step grandchildren, Courtney Bowles and Bo Holder; three great-grandchildren, Seth, Zachary, Giana; and three step-grandchildren, Caitlin, Gregory and Joey. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Thursday, December 26 and service will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 27 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. The family request any memorials be sent to Decatur Trinity Christian Church.
