William "Billy" Maxey, 78, of Lakeland, TN, passed away on August 5, 2015. He was married to his loving wife of 55 years, Patsy Maxey; and leaves behind a son, Trent (Teresa) Maxey; daughter, Lisa (Paul) Blackman; sisters, Marilyn (Gerry) Mitrius of Pfaff Town, NC, Hazel Parks of Byhalia, MS, Ann (Felton) Ward-Mason of Dundee, MS, Peggy (Ernie) Clayton of Livingston, TX; brother, Roger (Linda) Maxey; five grandchildren, Stephanie (Tommy) Mills, Brent (Jamie) Maxey, Jennifer Medina, Cassie (Chase) Hansen, Dustin Blackman; and five great grandsons, Ryan, Ross, Austin, Riley and Parker. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Saturday, August 8 until service begins at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following.
