William "Eddie" Roberts, 79, of Cordova, TN, went to be with the Lord at Baptist Memorial Hospital on December 12, 2017 after a short illness. He was born on January 20, 1938 in Forrest City, AR to Clarence and Lida Roberts. He served in the U. S. Navy, and retired from Glen Alden Security. He was a member of Agape Fellowship. He is survived by three daughters; Tonya Auvenshire (Tim, deceased) ; Vicki Floyd (Tim); and Jana McCormick (Jason); 9 grandchildren, Jeremy Tennyson (Jessica); Daniel Floyd; Michael Floyd; Nicholas Roberts; Mandy Borth; Molly Floyd; Megan Roberts; Parker Borth; and Preston McCormick; and three great-grandchildren, Ashton Tennyson; Alec Tennyson; and Eli Floyd. He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Janice Roberts, who was from Arlington, TN; a son, Dr. Jerry Roberts (Tammy, who survives him); a sister, Vivian Daughtery; and 4 brothers, Warren Roberts; Jack Roberts; Wesley Roberts; and Johnny Roberts. Visitation for Mr. Roberts will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Thursday, December 14, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 Friday, December 15, 2017, with interment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park, East.
