William R. "Bill" Vogel, 92, of Hernando, MS, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012. Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 29, at First Baptist Church of Eudora, MS. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery in Memphis. Mr. Vogel was an Air Force Veteran serving during WWII. He retired from Orgill Brothers. He was the past president of Mississippi Business Men's Association and past volunteer reserve officer for the DeSoto County Sheriff's Department. He leaves his wife of 70 years, Verna "Jackie" Vogel; three sons, Bill, Jack and Roy Vogel; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
