William Audra Watkins Sr ( lovingly known as Billy, LD, Hootie and Old Man) passed away at his home on December 13, 2020.

Billy was born to Henry Audra and Ernestine Watkins in Covington Tennessee on January 24, 1934

He married Peggy Mask on November 1, 1954.

As a self educated man Billy worked in many different careers until he and his wife Peggy purchased Active Moving and Storage in the 60's. He ran Active Moving until his retirement in 2010.
Billy enjoyed traveling with his church group, going to the casinos, spending time with family and watching softball and baseball games at Buckhead Park.

He is survived by his wife Peggy, daughter Cyndi Brown, son Bill Watkins (Marilyn), grandchildren John, Audra, Josh, Alleigh, Miranda and Katye and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Petie Watkins and Harold Watkins.

Funeral services will be held graveside at Forest Hill Cementary on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 10 am.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org
