William J. Weathers, 95, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2013. Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, December 9 at Forest Hill South with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Mr. Weathers was a member of Goodman Oaks Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by His wife, Virginia Frances Weathers; 6 siblings: Earl, Louise and Ira Weathers, Maggie Mae Buford, Mary Elizabeth Ray and Lula B. Holden. He leaves three daughters: Betty Gammell, Joyce Newman both of Olive Branch and Terri Winters of Hernando, 7 grandchildren; Greg Gammell, Chris Newman, Lisa Fox, Jeff Newman, Lori Blanton, Matt and Morgan Winters; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. Mr. Weathers is also survived by one sister, Peggy Oliver and two brothers, Oscar Weathers and Bob Weathers.
