William Ned Wigley, Sr., 93, of Hernando, MS formerly of Memphis, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014. He was born November 29, 1921 in Lexington, MS. Mr. Wigley was a WW II Army veteran having served in the U.S. Army''s European Theatre with the 2nd armored division. Ned was retired from Miller Transport after 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Mary Ernestine Wigley, and is survived by his children, William Ned Wigley, Jr. (Sandra) of Olive Branch, MS, Linda McDonald (Ernie) of New Albany, IN, Debi Harris (Gary) of Olive Branch, MS and Ann Alexander (Billy) of Hernando, MS. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m., Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m., Monday at the funeral home with interment to follow in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
