Willie Lane, Jr., 63, of Memphis, TN, died Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at his home. He was a past member of Gray''s Creek Missionary Baptist Church, self-employed carpenter, U.S. Army veteran and retired from the Army Reserve. Mr. Lane was preceded in death by his wife, Edna M. Lane, and is survived by his sons, Carlos Lane of Memphis, TN and Kelby Hollowell of Philadelphia, PA; sisters, Laura Lane Booker (Charlie) of Bartlett, TN, Vera Lane Taylor (Robert) of Memphis, TN and Remell Lane Sorrels of Chattanooga, TN; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday, September 22 at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, September 23 at the funeral home, with interment to follow.
