Marion "Willie" Williams, 79, passed from this life into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 26, 2019, having completed his work on earth.

He was born November 17, 1940.  Willie was the son of Ava Mae and Jack Williams who preceded him in death. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 52 years, Rosemary Hatton Williams, two sons Gordon Brooks Williams (Bethann) and Rollie Garner Williams, two sisters, Maybeth Williams Reed (Richard) and Rita Williams Moore (Homer), one brother Jimmy Williams.  He had been blessed with three grandchildren, Bryce Lorelle Williams, Blair Williams, Baylor Williams and one God child Nikki Rogers Randall (Josh).

Willie was a proud and decorated Marine who served his country with honor.  He retired from Texaco after 33 years and then worked with Averette Express for 15 years.  He was a quiet, gentle, intelligent man with a heart for the Lord and service to others.

A celebration of Willie's life will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Independent Presbyterian Church, Memphis, TN.  Visitation with family will be Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 1:00~2:00 pm also at Independent Presbyterian Church
