Wilma Jean Bourland, 91, went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2018.  She was in her home when she went to the arms of Jesus, after a short illness.  She was born on August 12, 1926 in Hattiesburg, MS to the late William Gwen and Irene Boyette Oliver.  She was a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene.  She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Marvin Bourland; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Paul Oliver and Joe Oliver.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris "Sonny" Bourland; two sons, George Bourland and Calvin Bourland; and two brothers, W.E. Oliver and James Oliver. She also leaves behind two loving caretakers, her daughter in law, Deborah Anderton and Susan Bourland. Visitation for Mrs. Bourland will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 19, 2018, with funeral services following at 2:00 Saturday.  All services are entrusted to the care of Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN, 38133.
