Wilson E. Ray, Jr., 74, of Memphis, TN died Monday, November 5, 2012 at his home. He was a member of Forestview Church of Christ, retired from International Harvester, and a U.S. Marine veteran. Mr. Ray is survived by his wife of 48 years, Phyllis Ray; daughter, Pamela Whitaker (Mike) of Crystal River, FL; son, Wilson E. Ray, III (D.J.) of Elmhurst, IL; brothers, Dr. Lawrence Ray of Savannah, GA, Mike Tognetti of Little Rock, AR and Ralph Tognetti of Bartlett, TN; grandchildren, Nikki, Alex and James Hamilton, Sierra and Logan Whitaker, Taylor, Zachary, Samantha and Nolan Ray. He also leaves his faithful companion, his dog, Cooper Ray. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, November 8 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, November 9 at Forestview Church of Christ. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society , J. H.
