Winford Earl Mansell, 89, of Nesbit, MS passed away peacefully on March 20, 2019.  Winford was born on August 28, 1929 in Tupelo, MS.  He worked as a carpenter in his early career, and retired from Methodist Hospital, where he worked in maintenance.  Service will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at First Baptist Church Horn Lake, with the family receiving friends beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Winford is survived by his four children: Phillip (Linda) Mansell of Nesbit, MS, Sherryl Ray of Little Rock, AR, Misty (Dr. Gary) Taylor of Suffolk, VA, and Lynn Mansell of San Antonio, TX; eight grandchildren:  Christy Mansell, Matt (Stacy) Mansell, Daniel Ray, Stephen (Katherine) Taylor, Jonathan (Christine) Taylor, Nicholas (Jessica) Taylor, Shea Bloomer, Justin Bloomer; ten great grandchildren:  Ethan, Cooper, Mazie Joy, Myla, Win, Waylon, Olivia, Huntley, Landon and Jake; and a sister, Charlene Wilson of Lake Forest, CA.  Winford was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Cora, his sister Merrill, and his wife, Nell.  The family requests that donations in lieu of flowers be made to First Baptist Church Horn Lake, 3505 Goodman Road, Horn Lake, MS 38637 or the charity of the donor's choice.  Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park-Midtown  (901) 775-0310
