Winfred H. Steward, 87, passed away at the Trinity Hospice House on Monday, February 11, 2013. He retired in 1991 after 20 years of service at Jones Truck Lines. He leaves his daughter, Shirley Sartor (Charles); his granddaughter, Carol Duke (Ronnie); his grandson, Greg Sartor (Brandy) and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Winfred H. Steward, Jr.; his mother, Mary Steward; his dad Johnny Roy Steward; brothers William Steward Webber Steward and Melvin Steward. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to his church, Southaven Church of Christ, 1483 Brookhaven, Southaven, MS 38671 or Baptist Trinity Hospice House, 1520 W. Poplar, Collierville, TN 38017. The family will receive friends, 1pm -2pm, Thursday, prior to services at 2 pm, both at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown.
