Woodrow Wilson Fowler, 87, passed away in Oxford, MS on April 5, 2019. Mr. Fowler served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corp, and was retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, and had been Scout Master of Troop 69 in the Boy Scouts. Mr. Fowler had coached youth basketball and was always very involved in youth activities. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patsy Fowler and one son, Randy Echols. Left to honor and cherish his memory are his three sons: Woodrow Stanley (Tina) Fowler of Batesville, AR, Alfred (Carmine) Echols of Collierville, TN, and Dennis (Debbie) Echols of Memphis, TN. Mr. Fowler has been blessed with twelve grandchildren: Samantha Fowler Morphis, Brittany Fowler, Stan Fowler, Jr, Peyton Fowler, Bert Echols, Paige Davis, Jeremy Echols, Stacey Echols, Jordan Echols, Katie Pillow, Drew Echols, and Cori Echols; ten great grandchildren: R.J. Morphis, Grady Davis, Iris Echols, Helen Echols, Ashley Phelps, Kyleigh Echols, Caden Alexander, Avery Alexander, Georgia Kate Pillow, and Christian Echols. Visitation with his family will be on Saturday, April 13, 2019, from 1:00 until 2:00 pm, with his service following at 2:00 pm at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East on Whitten Rd. 901-382-1000
