Zadie Idona Carter passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 in Jackson, TN. She was born June 05, 1938, to parents: Joel and Ola Morrison. After graduating high school, she began working at St. Jude as a central sterile supply technician until her retirement. She was also a dedicated member of First Assembly in Memphis, TN.  Zadie is preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Vester Hollis Carter. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her only daughter Catherine Creed, her granddaughter Shelby Creed-Kidd (Jason), and her brother Hurbert Morrison. Zadie will forever be in our hearts and we will miss her more than words can express. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital or a charity of your choosing.
